Our app, Presently, collects the following information to provide and improve our services:

• Wi-Fi Network Name (SSID): We access your current Wi-Fi network name to determine whether you are connected to your home or office network. This requires macOS Location Services permission. The network name is only stored locally on your computer and is never transmitted to any external servers.
• Slack Token: We store your Slack OAuth token securely in your device's Keychain. This token is used solely to update your Slack status and is not transmitted to any external servers.
• Microsoft Teams Token (Optional): If you enable the experimental Teams integration, we store your Microsoft Teams OAuth tokens securely in your device's Keychain. These tokens are used solely to update your Teams status message and are not transmitted to any external servers.

Location Services

This app requires macOS Location Services permission to access Wi-Fi network information. This is a macOS requirement for reading the current network name. We do not track your geographic location, and no location data is transmitted from your device.

Analytics

We use TelemetryDeck to collect anonymous usage analytics. This helps us understand how the app is used and improve it over time.

TelemetryDeck is a privacy-focused analytics service that:

• Does not collect personal identifiers
• Does not track users across apps or websites
• Uses anonymous, hashed identifiers that cannot be linked to you
• Is fully GDPR compliant

We collect data about feature usage (e.g., which status modes are used, whether connections succeed) to improve the app. No personal information, network names, or status content is included in analytics.

How We Use Your Information

The information we collect is used in the following ways:

• To provide functionality that automatically updates your Slack and Teams status based on your Wi-Fi connection.
• To improve and maintain the performance of our app through anonymous analytics.

Data Storage & Security

We take the security of your information seriously. Here are the measures we have in place:

• Local Storage: Your Wi-Fi network names and preferences are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to any external servers.
• Keychain Storage: We use your device's Keychain to securely store sensitive information like your Slack and Teams tokens, ensuring that they are encrypted and accessible only by our app.
• No External Servers: All personal data stays on your device. The only external communication is with Slack's API, Microsoft's API (if Teams is enabled), and TelemetryDeck for anonymous analytics.

This app integrates with the following third-party services:

• Microsoft Teams (Optional): To update your status message. Subject to Microsoft's Privacy Statement.
