Track headline, provider-specific, model-specific, and reset-credit windows from a compact menu-bar panel.

Frontmost Account

When a Claude or Codex session is active, the menu-bar gauge switches to that account.

Local First

Claude limits arrive through an opt-in local status-line helper. Only Codex uses its read-only usage endpoint.

Open source

Claudex is released under the MIT license. Public releases are distributed from GitHub and can also be installed from Homebrew.

The direct app download is a universal macOS app for Apple Silicon and Intel. It is Developer ID signed, notarized by Apple, stapled, and verified with Gatekeeper.
