About this policy
Stegvis is a standalone Apple Watch interval timer developed by MJUKIS AB, Sweden. This policy describes the Watch app, support communications, and this website. For questions, contact support@mjukis.dev.
Health and motion data
With your permission, Stegvis accesses heart rate, walking and running distance, running speed, and active energy through Apple HealthKit. It uses these values to display workout metrics, calculate pace, and help determine whether an interval reminder is useful. Motion activity data helps distinguish walking from running.
Stegvis processes this information on your device. The app does not send health or motion data to MJUKIS AB, an analytics service, advertisers, or other third parties. It does not sell your data or use it for advertising.
What is stored
Your interval lengths, session goal, and indoor or outdoor preference are stored locally on the Watch. Live workout state is held in memory during the session. With your permission, completed workouts are saved to Apple Health.
Workouts saved in Apple Health remain there until you delete them. Any backup or synchronization of Health data is controlled by Apple and your device and iCloud settings, not by a Stegvis server. Stegvis does not operate a server that stores your workouts.
Your choices and deletion
You can manage Stegvis's Health permissions in Apple Health and its motion permissions in your device's privacy settings. Without access to a metric, that information may be unavailable in the app; without permission to save workouts, a session cannot be saved to Health.
You can delete saved workouts in Apple Health. Removing Stegvis removes its local app settings, but does not delete workouts already saved in Health. We cannot access or delete your Health records on your behalf.
No app accounts or tracking
The Watch app has no account system, advertising, tracking SDKs, or usage analytics. It does not collect your name, email address, or contact details during normal use.
When you contact support
If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include. We use that information to answer your request and resolve the issue. Please avoid sending sensitive health information. You can ask us to delete support correspondence using the contact address above; we retain it only as needed to handle the request and meet applicable obligations.
This website
The mjukis.dev website is separate from the Watch app. It is hosted on Firebase Hosting and uses TelemetryDeck for website analytics, including pageviews and link interactions. The website also stores your light or dark theme preference in your browser. Opening a website link does not transmit your Stegvis workout or Health records to this site.
Changes and contact
We will update this page if Stegvis's data practices change and revise the date above. Contact MJUKIS AB at support@mjukis.dev with privacy questions or requests.
